Round up - 30th November

Our under 13s avenged a defeat earlier in the season by beating Nidd United 7-3, with Crouz netting five times, and Goodman scoring from the spot. The game between our Under 15s and Kirk Deighton was postponed due to a frozen pitch. 30/11/08

U15s v. Kirk Deighton

This game will be played at Skelton Woods, kick off at 10.30am. Players to meet at 10.00am at the pitch - and wrap up warm!!. 29/11/08

U18s hit the top; Under 15s in goal-fest; Under 14s do the double over Bardsey; Under 13s hit double figures.

Our under 13s won at Killinghall Nomads 10-3, whilst our Under 15s went back to the top of the league with a shaky win against Cookridge Albion, whilst our Under 14s completed the double over local rivals Bardsey. Our Under 18s hit the top of the league with a fine home win against Colton. 24/11/08

Under 15s at Home in Black Prince Trophy.

Whinmoor Under 15s have been drawn at home to either Bramley Phoenix or Chapeltown FYDC in the Leeds and Districts' Black Prince Trophy, according to the Leeds and District Website. The tie, scheduled for January 18th, is reward for their victory over Beeston 'B' last weekend. 18/11/08

Results round-up - 16th November.

Whinmoor Under 14s demolished Leeds Maccabi 17-2 (yes, it says seventeen!), whilst our Under 15s progressed in the Black Prince Trophy, beating Beeston 'B' 7-2. Our under 17s continued their solid start to the season with a fine 4-2 win over Pannal Sports, whilst the under 18s slipped out of the cup to Farsley Celtic. 16/11/08

Results round-up - 9th November.

A hat-trick for part-time 'keeper Nathan Bradd helped Whinmoor Under 15s to a comfortable 8-1 over Bardsey to put them top of the table, and straight afterwards on the same pitch, Whinmoor U14s beat the same opponents 4-2 to continue their great start to the season. The Under 18s managed to win by the odd goal in 7 away at Colton Juniors, but our under 13s failed to get revenge for their cup defeat, but put up a brave fight against Wigton Moor Athletic, and our under 17s were robbed by a last minute winner at home to Pannal Ash 9/11/08

 

November Subs now due!

Players are reminded that subscriptions for November are now due. Please try to get these paid in as soon as possible. 3/11/08

 

U18s edge out Chapeltown, under 13s rained off.

Our Under 18s edged a tense encounter 3-2 against title contenders Chapeltown FYDS, whilst the weather put paid to our Under 13s chances of revenge against Wigton Moor 3/11/08
