Results Round-up - 22nd February

Our Under 18s consolidated their position on top of the league with a well-earned 2-1 victory at Knaresborough. Meanwhile, their cup semi-final opponents were confirmed as Leeds Lions. Our under 13s gained an admirable point after a 3-3 draw at home to Leeds Maccabi, whilst our Under 14s fell to a well organised Kirk Deighton side. 23/2/09

U18s through to League Cup semi-finals!

Whinmoor under 18s progressed into the semi-finals fo the league cup, at the expense of the team they beat in last years final, Guiseley. Despite going a goal down early on, goals from Allison, Ahmed and Sunley gave them an unassailable 3-1 lead before Guiseley notched a late consolation. Churwell Lions play Leeds Lions in a rearranged quarter final next Sunday (22nd Feb), to decide who meets Whinmoor in the semi-final, which is scheduled for March 22nd. 16/2/09


U17s result correction

On the 1st of Feb, this website showed that our under 17s were spanked 8-1 by Pannal Sports. In fact, it was Whinmoor who were...erm....doing the spanking. Blame the H&D Website for this one. anyway, the results & tables have been rectified (Surprised you didn't spot this one, Ade!) 16/2/09

The photo gallery has been changed - there are no new photos, only some half-brained technical whizkiddery to allow you to view the photos more easily. 11/2/09


Under 15s off again!

For the third week in succession, our Under 15s have had their match postponed. A full update of the remaining fixtures will be coming soon - check the Under 15 page.11/2/09

Whinmoor Under 15s game this Saturday against Nidd United has been postponed due to the weather. 6/2/09


Under 15 training off!

Garforth Community college is closed this Tuesday, and therefore training for our Under 15s is cancelled for this week. 2/2/09


Roundup - 1st February

Our Under 18s consolidated their position at the top of the Leeds & District Premier league after a tight win at Chapeltown, whereas our Under 13s had a goal-fest 6-6 draw at Boroughbridge. Unfortunately, our Under 14s and our Under 17s fell to defeat. 1/2/09
