27/09 - U18s push Leeds City all the way
Our under 18s lost by the odd goal in 5 against Leeds City Juniors as they got their league campaign off to a belated start.

27/09 - U14s bow out of cup
Our under 14s lost out in the cup to higher league opponents. Despite fighting back, a flurry of late goals gave Wigton Moor United a lop-sided scoreline.

27/09 - U11s mugged in Hunslet
Our new Under 11s side were controversially denied a point, when an equlaiser was disallowed 5 minutes from the end when a narrowly going down 2-1 at Hunslet Greens.

27/09 - U10s go down fighting
Our new Under 10s side continue to make great progress, making league leaders from Pannal Sports Panthers work hard for an overall victory, which included the Whinmoor sides first win, Jake Turpin netting the winner in a 1-0 victory.

27/09 - U16s move forward to next round
Goals from Jamie Allen and Will Duree saw our under 16s progress to the next round of the cup in a full-blooded match at home to Pannal Sports Panthers.

20/09 - Under 14s trounce Otley
Our Under 14s continued their fine progress with a comfortable 12-1 win at Otley

20/09 - Under 15s continue great start
Our Under 15s kept up their brilliant start to the season with a fine 8-2 away win at Pannal Sports Panthers

20/09 - Under 16s run riot over Nidd!
Our Under 16s turned on the style as they thrashed Nidd Utd. 7 different scorers (and an own goal) found the net in a comfortable 12-1 victory.

13/09 - Under 10s run Panthers close!
Our under 10s ran Pannal Sports Panthers very close in 3 of the 4 matches, only losing by the odd goal.

13/09 - Under 15s sweep Leeds Maccabi aside
Our under 15s continued their superb form with an easy win at home to Leeds Maccabi. Six different scorers found the net in a spectacular 13-0 victory!

13/09 - Under 11s go down fighting at Churwell
Our under 11s, in their first competitive game, lost 4-0 away at Churwell Lions.

13/09 - Under 14s crush Knaresborough
Four goals from Crouz, two each from Carty and Musonda, and one from Whitaker saw our Under 14s wallop Knaresborough 9-0.

13/09 - Under 16s fight back for draw
A Harry Uttley penalty and a screamer from Will Duree earned our Under 16s a point away at Bardsey.

12/09 - Under 16s fight back for opening day win
Two goals each for Jamie Allen & Harry Uttley, and one from Emilio Bozzo, gave 10 man Whinmoor a 5-4 win against Guiseley.

12/09 - Under 15s give NE Leeds a footballing lesson
Whinmoor Juniors trounced hosts NE Leeds 7-0 to send a message to the rest of their division.

12/09 - Under 14s start with a defeat
Despite mostly dominating their match at Burley, Whinmoor under 14 started the season with a 5-3 defeat.

12/09 - Under 10s start with a point
In their first ever game in the legendary yellow and green, our new Under 10s team managed to gain a point against the more experienced Kirk Deighton after Max Johnson scored the first ever league goal for the team, but lost out in the other three games.

Big Kick Off This Weekend!
Our four teams which compete in the Harrogate & District Leagues start their seasons this Sunday. The remaining two sides, who compete in the Garforth & Leeds Leagues, get underway next week.

Players Required
Whinmoor Juniors are on the lookout for more players to build up their squads, but especially their new Under 11s squad.
If you know any enthusiastic young footballer of any age, but especially who will be in year 6 in September, please contact the website to find out when the next training session is.

Charter Standard Achieved!
Whinmoor Juniors successfully achieved the FA Charter Standard on July 15th after a huge amount of effort, on the part of the team managers and secretary Robin Cartwright.

Annual General Meeting
The Whinmoor Juniors FC Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, 3rd September at Barnbow Club, starting at 8pm.
All parents, supporters and wealthy financiers are actively encouraged to attend.
