Under 8s vanquish Collingham
Our under overcame Collingham by 2 goals to nowt!

Under 12s catch a cold against Bedale
Our under 12s raced into a 3-0 half-time lead, only to allow Bedale to nick the game in the second half.
Goals from Ellis Ayo, Bailey Mannion and Kyle Farrar had Whinmoor thinking the game was over at the break, but all credit to Bedale, who stormed back to win 4-3.

Under 13 Greens back to winning ways
A change of venue brought a change of fortune as Whinmoor slipped and slid to a 2-0 victory over Pannal Sports Panthers.
Callum Freckleton opened the scoring when Jack Fordhams shot was charged down, and Ben Vickers slotted the second from the edge of the area.
The result leaves Whinmoor six points clear at the top of the division.29/01/12

Our under 13 Yellows lost out away at Hunslet Greens

Under 14s just miss out in thriller
Our under 14s lost out by the odd goal in 9 as they pushed high-flyers Glen Juniors all the way.
Leon Swatman netted all four as Glen nicked the points.

A waterlogged pitch at Killinghall meant that our under 16s were left kicking their heels on a Sunday morning again.

Under 17s hit form to beat Guiseley
Our under 17s returned to winning ways with a fine 5-3 victory at home to Guiseley.

Under 8s hit the win trail
Our under 8s started 2012 with a fine win away at Collingham, with Jacob and James getting the goals
This was an excellent team performance, and the work rate shown was superb, with every department of the team hitting the top of their form

Under 10s continue to improve
Our under 10s won three of the four games versus Lawnswood, drawing the other one.
a 5-0 win in the match between both 'B' teams was the undoubted hightlight, as Mike Robinsons team start to gel

Under 12s come from behind to defeat Nidd
A sterling effort from our under 12s saw them come back from a goal down to lay siege to the Nidd goal.
Two goals in the last 10 minutes - a 25-yard stonker from skipper Bailey Mannion, with pocket rocket Koby McNamara providing the killer touch to add to his earlier goal.
Consistent striker Ellis Ayo got the other Whinmoor goal. The boys never gave up today, and Jono Farrow was outstanding in a brilliant never-say-die team performance.22/01/12

Under 16s trip up at Otley
A strong first half was undone by a slow start to the second half by our Under 16s at Otley.
Despite taking the lead with a neat finish from Jordan Whitaker, Whinmoor found themselves behind before a superb long range effort gave Jordan his second goal and had the home team rocking at 2-3.
Otley started the second half on fire, though, and two quick goals effectively ended the game as a contest. A number of notable performances, though, not least from debutant Adam Walker, who gave a very promising showing in his first game.

U13 Green start 2012 with a bang!
Our under 13 Green team got back to winning ways by handing a 6-1 beating to Lawnswood YMCA.
A goal inside the first 10 seconds from Jack Atkinson set the tone, and Jack completed his hat-trick, with two goals from Ben Vickers and a sixth from Callum Freckleton.
At the other end, Connor Furey saved a penalty as well. So a good day all round, as the team consolidated their position at the top of the league.08/01/12

U13 Yellow miss out against Woodkirk
Our under 13s yellows showed great improvement in their first game of the year, pushing league leaders Woodkirk all the way, only to lose out 3-1.08/01/12

Our under 14s bowed out of the supplementary cup to first division Horton Foxes today.08/01/12

U16s rained off at Killinghall
Our under 16s start to 2012 was delayed by the weather as their game at Killinghall was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.08/01/12

Club founder expresses delight
A chance meeting has brought approval for the club from the man who was there at the very beginning.
Richard Cale is delighted that not only is the club still in existence, but it is flourishing.
"I can't believe the club is doing so well- we started from scratch and to see that Whinmoor have 150 lads playing for them is fantastic!"
Richard started the club in the early 90's, and has promised to look through his attic to find some information that we can put on this website.01/01/12
