Under 8s grab great draw
Our under 8s managed to hold one of the best teams in the league to a 1-1 draw.26/03/12

Under 12s continue great run
Our under 12s stretched their unbeaten run to 7 games as they dismissed Pannal Sports Pumas 5-1.
A superb hat-trick from Koby McNamara, along with goals from Kyle Farrar and Ellis Ayo, who has now notched 20 for the season.
There were great performances from Cameron Liddell, Bailey Mannion and Jonno Farrar, as Whinmoor kept up their chase for the title.

Under 13 Greens must fight for the title!
Our under 13 Greens are to contest a playoff with near rivals Beckwithshaw Rhinos to decide the divisional championship.
The teams have finished on level points, so they must duke it out to decide who gets the bragging rights in the top division next season.

Under 13 Yellows win at Tingley
Our Under 13 Yellows grabbed their second win of the season by winning 4-1 away at Tingley Corinthians.26/03/12

Under 14s run out of steam at League Leaders
Our Under 14s put up a good fight at runaway league leaders Hunslet, but eventually their resistance broke as they were overrun in the second half.26/03/12

Under 16s scare Pannal Sports, but are eventually swamped in the sunshine.
Our Under 16s totally outplayed title challengers Pannal Sports for the first half-hour, even taking the lead from a superbly worked Nathan Kay goal, but their effort was in vain as Pannal took control in the second half.
A late Jordan Whitaker goal was little more than consolation, despite sterling performances from custodian Jack Rothera and especially midfield dynamo Connor Robinson. 26/03/12

Under 12s maintain promotion push - but only just!
Our under 12s kept up their bid for promotion with a thrilling 5-4 win over near rivals Kirk Deighton
In a superb game, played in fantastic spirit by both teams, Whinmoor came back from 4-2 down with 10 minutes left to win it in the dying moments.
Two goals from Ellis Ayo, with Kyle Farrar, Koby McNamara and Jake Turpin scoring the other goals, along with fine performances from Jonathan Farrow and Cameron Liddell against a very spirited and hard-working Kirk Deighton side.
Whinmoor now move into second place with four games remaining.18/09/11

Under 13 Greens Clinch Back-to-Back promotions!
Our under 13 Green side clinched the second promotion in two seasons when they won 2-1 away at arch-rivals Nidd Utd, a feat made all the more remarkable because they had no substitutes today.
Goals from Callum Freckleton and Shaun Booth were enough to take all three points in a superb performance, a late Nidd goal made the game appear to be more equal than it was.
Well done to all the lads, and to the older lads & lasses off the field! 11/03/12

Under 12s fight back to keep the dream alive
Our under 12s fought back from two goals down to take a point away at Otley, to stay hard on the heels of the leaders.
Whinmoor were two goals down before they got started today, by Cam Liddell started the comeback, with Kyle Farrar getting two to earn a 3-3 draw.
Whinmoor are now 7 points behind the leaders, but with 3 games in hand! Keep believing, boys!11/03/12

Ref mystified by Under 14 defeat
The referee struggled to believe that Whinmoor lost away at Whitkirk Wanderers, after a superb team performance saw our lads come away with nothing.
Manager Simon Yaffe was proud of his teams performance, though, as he was down to the bare bones of his starting 11 for the game.11/03/12

Under 16s give high flying Pannal a fright
Our under 16s belied their lowly league position by out-running and out-fighting their 2nd place opponents all the way in the sunshine.
After make most of the headway for the first 20 minutes, Whinmoor found themselves two down, but Aidan Guy pulled the score back to 2-1 at the break.
Pannal Sports edged further ahead and, even though they were reduced to 10 men, Whinmoor kept fighting, and troubled the woodwork before the home side finished the scoring to win 4-1.11/03/12

Whinmoor Juniors benefits from the Garry Chappelow Memorial Fund
Our under 14s have been very generously provided with the funds to purchase essential equipment by the Garry Chappelow Memorial Fund.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Garry Chappelow Memorial Fund, and the fantastic work that they do for sporting organisations of all kinds.
The fund also helped us in 2006 when arsonists destroyed most of our equipment. Whinmoor Juniors would like to express our gratitude and are proud to support the Gary Chappelow Memorial Fund.

Under 8s come back to pinch a deserved draw
After going 3-1 down at half time - including a, (...cough...), 'generous' penalty decision to the home side,
Our under 8s rallied in the second half to level the the match at 3 apiece.

Under 12s do the double over the leaders to keep their title hopes alive
Despite being pegged back after Kyle Farrar had put Whinmoor ahead with 10 minutes to go, a quick break saw Koby McNamara saw the lads in yellow take all three points.
A valiant effort from Jake Turpin at the back, and a great performance from Cameron Liddell up front were too much for the league leaders.
Whinmoor are now just 5 points behind the leaders, with three games in hand.
