The U10s had a decent run-out against Bramley at Powerleague today, who were had some decent lads and their first choice keepers were superb. They still didn't quite click when the ball from the keeper kept hitting the netting over the top of the pitch! Close first game for Tom's lads who had just 6 against their 7 but battled from 6-2 down to 6-5 and just ran out of time. Ben with the MoM. After recruiting an U9s to have 7 men, the second game was close at first and we went in 3-2 down but blew the opposition away in the 2nd and couldn't stop scoring. Mason scored a couple and showed off some superb skills to grab the MoM. Everyone scored today so we also had goals for Lewis H (3), U9s Lewis - ta matey (3), Bradley (4), Bailey (2) and Noah and Ben. Some superb stuff - well done. Stuart's lads ran away with the first game and had a cracking 5-4 in the 2nd. Waiting for confirmation of scorers but know Ethan popped in 5, James 2, Cian 3 and Josh G and K scored too I imagine. Cian was superb in defence for his MoM in the first game and Cameron showed off fantastic skills in the second for his MoM but sounds like you were all great. Well worth a couple of quid to play more than an hour's football.
Our U15s blew the cobwebs off with a 5-1 win away at Boroughbridge, sending them into the league cup quarter final. A hat-trick from Liam and a brace from Max sealed a comfortable win in blustery conditions. After a slow start the team soon get things going after going a goal down in the opening minutes. All in all it was just the game they needed - picking up from where they left off, lets take it on into next weeks bumper game at home to Ilkley, Well done motm Liam.

Fantastic day for our U9's today. To get around the weather, we played at Powerleague against Pannal Ash Hawks and got 4 very impressive victories. 9-6 13-0 9-4 and 13-2! Some amazing football played in great spirit and some stunning goals scored, they were a joy to watch! Opposition coaches also praised our lads, for both their ability and behaviour on the pitch. MoM's went to defensive rocks Leon and Josh, and flying goal scoring wingers Kavelle and Morgan! Goals for Bradley 11 Kavelle 7 Nathan 4 Aaron 4 Morgan 4 Lewis 4 James 2 Connor 2 Joe Max and a first Whinmoor goal ever for Josh! Really proud of all of them today, they were amazing! (sits down, has a cup of hot, sweet tea)
