21st September - round-up
Our Under 9s had a good day with 3 wins and a draw against Pannal Ash.
Our Under 10s had a tough fixture away at Horsforth and manage to take the first game 2-1, but were back in the groove for the second, winning 8-2
Its time to concentrate on the league for our Under 11s as they went down 2-5 to Tingley Athletic in the cup.
Our Under 16s had a fine win against a very strong Thackley side, with Charley Storey settling matters with the only goal.

21st September - round-up
Our Under 9s had a good day with 3 wins and a draw against Pannal Ash.
Our goal crazy Under 10s beat Amaranth by 11-1 in both fixtures.
After two narrow defeats, our Under 11s got their first point of the season witha battling 3-3 draw away at Hunslet.
Our Under 16s came back to claim a point with a 3-3 draw in a tough home fixture against Ilkley.

14th September - round-up
A trip to mighty Farsley held no fears for our Under 10s as they won both games 10-0 and 11-0.
A local derby against a strong Colton side saw our Under 11s go down 3-1 for the second week running.
Our Under 15s raced into a 4-0 lead against Ilkley, but then switched off and ending up hanging on for a 5-5 draw!

7th September - round-up
Knaresborough were the visitors for our Under 9s, and both Whinmoor teams acquitted themselves well against a strong tackling Celtic side, coming away with two draws and two defeats from the four games.
Our Under 10s managed two great wins away at Rothwell. In the first game, a goalless first half preceded a find 2nd half display which saw Whinmoor win 9-1. The second game was even more emphatic, with 10 unanswered 2nd half goals giving our boys an 11-0 win and a great start to the season.
A trip to ChurwellOur Under 11s started their season with a trip to Churwell, and came away defeated 1-3, despite a spirited performance.
Our Under 15s had Lee Davis to thank for a 1-0 win against Wetherby. After dominating the game, it looked as though we weren't going to be able to break them down, until Josh, Max & Camo combined to put Lee in for the winner in the last two minutes.
A tricky looking to trip to Otley saw our Under 16s start the season with 3 points. Mikey Garner put Whinmoor 1 up at the start of the second half, and Otley were kind enough to score the winner for us!

The 7 Whinmoor Juniors teams are ready for the 2014/15 season - which kicks off THIS WEEKEND!
* Our under 9s start the whole show with a home fixture against Knaresborough Celtic
* Our under 10s start away at Rothwell Juniors
* Our under 11s are away at Churwell Lions
* Our under 13s travel to Wetherby
* Our under 15s also play Wetherby, but at home
* Our under 16s travel to Otley Town

Our under 8s must wait until next week, when they play host to Pannal Sports.

Coaches v. Parents
After the success of last years game - which, incidentally, Gareth is still talking about - Tom has arranged a Coaches v. Parents game at Skelton Woods on Wednesday at 6pm.
